The ambient light is white and the UV light attracts the insects, killing them when they come into contact with the internal electric mesh. Thanks to its solar panel, it charges during the day using sunlight and works in the dark, so its light sensor detects when the sunlight is disappearing and the lamp switches on automatically with the type of light selected using the switch. In the same way, it will switch off automatically when it detects sunlight the following day. It can also be switched off permanently at any time using the switch (off position).
